If it’s particularly damp, I wouldn’t go more than a few days without re-crisping in a warm oven.

Crispy Sesame Roll

Ingredients for Crispy Sesame Roll:

Wheat flour – 1/2 kg
Sesame – 200 grams
Sugar – 150 grams
Cooking oil – 1 cup

Method to cook Crispy Sesame Roll

1, Stir-fry the sesame, grind into powder and mix with the sugar.

2, Add a little water (approx 10 tblsp) of hot water into the flour and mix to form a dough. Cut the dough into 10 pieces and shape each piece into a thin flat rectangle. Then heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the dough strips

3, Remove from oil immediately once bubbles appear on their surface. Drain off the oil and set aside.

4, Sprinkle the sesame mixture while the strips are still hot. Roll them into long strips and cut into diamond shapes. Now this Crispy Sesame Roll dim sum is ready to serve. Enjoy.
