3 med. bitter melons
3 T. fermented black beans, soaked for 5 minutes and rinsed twice
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vegetable oil

1, Slice butter melons in half lengthwise and discard seeds. Slice across into 1/2 inch slices.
2, Heat oil in frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and black beans. Stir fry 2 minutes.
